From the article, this is Matenrou Opera’s message about the song:

 

Recently the direction we were thinking of was making a fusion of “True Momoko Kanade” and “True Matenrou Opera,” and adding “enchanting” in with it.

 

That’s because I’d say the impression when we met was that’s she’s enchanting, the impression was like a pure bright feeling of transparency. I thought, with too much charm, I wonder if there’s a risk of erasing Kanade-san’s best points. From there I made the interpretation “enchanting = real life girls’ girl,” a lady who doesn’t talk with men much, but in truth, she is entreating... So I wrote the song lyrics with that in mind. This song is for a singer who can be both enchanting and genuine. I am truly looking forward to how Kanade-san will express herself singing this song.

 

And here’s Momoko Kanade’s album preview, the Uso no nai Watashi de clip is around 1:26. The album has a theme of one song for each of seven colors. Uso no nai Watashi de is purple.

“Uso no nai Watashi de” was her first time working with Matenrou Opera, who are senior artists to her at King Records. In interviews Kanade-san said she was afraid before meeting the Matenrou Opera members because they are visual kei, but she listened to their music and enjoyed it a lot, and she was pleasantly surprised by how nice they were when they met! So, she was very enthusiastic about singing this song and enjoyed it a lot! Her second project with Matenrou Opera members was the song “Good Morning Dictator,” lyrics by Sono, for her Kanade Rocks album. Ayame recently composed a song 『巡想架』 for Momoko Kanade as well. I hope they will work together on lots of wonderful future projects!
